Pfc. Bruce Carter is to be re-interred at Arlington National Cemetery originating at the Memorial Gate at 1500 on 4 November 2020.

The official site arlingtoncemetery.mil advises checking with the family for any changes to this schedule.

It sure would be nice if 2/3 V.V.A. were represented at this ceremony.

I have no idea how to get in touch with Georgie Carter-Krell. Anyone able to get in touch with her or her daughters?

Will send this notice to all the e mails I have for 2/3 V.V.A. Marines.

Another Brother Gone

Good morning. It is with deep regret that announcement is made of the death of Captain Richard Brammer, USMC on 8 September 2020. He had been confined to the I.C.U. for 3 weeks before he succumbed to his illness while in hospital.

Lt. Brammer was assigned to Bravo Company 1/12, was attached to 2/3 RVN and had been a member of the 2/3 Vietnam Veterans Association.

Next of kin information, funeral and memorial arrangements will be e mailed to 2/3 V.V.A.Marines as they are received.

We pray for Captain Brammer, his familly and loved ones. May he rest in eternal peace.

Willy Staupe another brother gone.

Marines,

I have received word from Willy's friend Jerry Mehling that he had passed away on August 25, 2020 at
his home in Hartland, WI. He stated that Willie had been working in his yard and came in for a nap
in the afternoon. Family thinks he had a blood clot in his leg, he past away peacefully during his nap.

Funeral Services will be at the Eckert funeral home in Hartland, WI 53029 on Sept. 1, 2020 at
11:00 a.m. Jerry Mehling stated he would provide additional information as it becomes available.
Jerry and Willy have been very good friends through the years since Vietnam. Willy was also
a very good friend of mine and I know I am going to miss him. God bless you my friend and
I hope there are Casinos in heaven.
