Reunion pictures

Eric suggested that if you have reunion pictures you would like posted on the web site that you send them to him so all may enjoy.

According to my records, I show you as having ordered polo and denim shirts for our reunion
and I also know that there were problems with some of you getting your shirts. If any one of
you had problems getting the proper shirt, please let me know and I will get your order for you.

Below is a list of those that have ordered shirts:

Ron Poness          1 denim shirt and 1 polo shirt
Stan Lucas            1 denim shirt
Dave Regal            1 denim shirt and 1 polo shirt
Doc Andy              1 denim shirt and 1 polo shirt

I have also put embroidery me on notice that we did have a problem with the 2XL shirts
and he stated that he would make it right for us.

If any of you did not receive your shirt, please e-mail me and I will take care of it for you.

New blog/message board

The "official" 2/3 website is up and running. We have started an "official" blog/message board. It's not complete but you can use it at this time. I am still working out the bugs, We are hoping that soon (?) you will be able to post messages without going through a 2nd party (at this time me). If you wish to post a message (at this time) you must send it to me at rponess@rochester.rr.com. Then I will post it for you. Please remember we are still in the learning/testing stage.

SgtMaj Don Aakers conveys his thanks

Mike Greer reports that SgtMaj Don Aakers wants everyone in the association to know that the flowers you sent to his wife's funeral were great and he really appreciated them. Don also stated that he's getting along pretty well now, but sometimes it's just tough.

Our hearts and prayers go out to this fellow Marine, a long-time member of our association.

A 2/3 veteran named Mike Clark needs verification for his PH. He was wounded with Foxtrot Company on May 27, 1968. More info can be found in the VVA paper "Veteran."
