More Bad News Harry Hoy

by Donna Fuller on 07/27/16

Bad things always come in 3's.  We have lost our 3rd brother.  Harry Hoy an original member of our 2/3 organization passed away this past week from cancer.

he had been fighting cancer for some time and it had returned.
Harry was an original member of our organization,  He had been active from the beginning.  For many years he was a great treasurer as well as company rep.  The team of  Harry and Bosco have helped make our organization as successful as it is today.  I do not believe there will be any service for him per his request.
  He will be much missed.
May he Rest in Peace with other brothers.
        Respectfully Submitted

From Col. Myers Daughter

by Donna Fuller on 01/16/16

From Col. Myers Daughter

This is Don’s youngest daughter, Michelle.  You have not heard from my dad in a while and this is why...

In early December he went into the hospital with various issues...all serious..he was treated for 10 days over Christmas and finally sent home.  Once home things did not improve and last Monday he was taken by ambulance to the emergency room.  He was admitted into the ICU.  He has blood clots in his lungs and they developed in his legs as well.  This is a huge concern and so it was decided that he would have surgery to place a mesh device to catch any clots that might break away and travel.  This gave us a little relief but he is still very weak and in extreme pain and the situation is still serious.  Many decisions still need to be made and his recovery is going to take time and patience.  Having said this his mind is not affected at all.  He is alert and aware of everything and making his own medical decisions.  When the pain meds are working he is still giving us directions as to what needs to be done(including telling me how to send this email to his entire list) and laughing at our stories.

I cannot express all the appreciation we feel for your prayers and concern.  In the hard moments we just rely on faith and knowing that ultimately everything is in God’s hand.  The situation changes day to day and even hour by hour.  We will try to keep you updated but please know that it is not always easy.

With gratitude,
Michelle (Myers) Parker
