TJ Croft From Mick Hughes

by Donna Fuller on 02/20/19

Greetings Marines,
Marine "TJ" Croft has been diagnosed with colon cancer.  Today, 2/19/19, he underwent a bronchoscopy to help determine if the cancer has spread.  The results of this procedure are pending.  A date for cancer surgery is also pending.
"TJ" is home right now.  Tammy requests
no phone calls please as conversing is difficult for "TJ".  PLEASE send texts, e mails and US Mail cards/correspondence.  "TJ" always enjoys hearing from his 2/3 V.V.A. brothers.  Please call/text/e mail Mick Hughes if you require contact information.
At this time, the Croft Family is grateful for your prayers and good wishes for "TJ's" speedy recovery.  Thank you.
Semper Fidelis.  Mick

Another passing.

From J.D.

I thought I had posted the passing of Samuel Lee Fincher in late December 2018. His significant other. Christa, said Fincher passed on December 17, 2018. Fincher, a machine gunner, I believe in RD Norton’s team, had been seriously wounded on 9May 67.
Fincher was affectionately known as “Bo”. R.I.P. Semper FIdelis. JD

"gentlemen, my brother Bill Duff was 4th platoon, Foxtrot Co., 2nd Batallion, 3rd Marines from approximately 1962 through 1964. Bill is presently stage 4 cancer and Hospice. I know it would mean the world to him if he heard from one of his other brothers. Sorry, I was army, don't know for sure how to do this, but if you can, he is currently in Minden, Nv. (775) 392-0007 I've always loved and respected the man, and would be very grateful if someone there could assist. Respects, and thank you for your service, Lonnie Duff 503 752 3865"
