TOMAH, Wisconsin --
David L. Parr, 58, of Tomah died Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Tomah Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born April 9, 1949, to Fay and Rose Marie (Mossholder) Parr at Viroqua Hospital. He was a member of Tomah Senior High School class of 1967. David was united in marriage to Joan Noth on October 18, 1969, at St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kirby, Wisconsin. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran. David worked for the Tomah Co-op for many years, and most recently at Tomah Memorial Hospital. He was a devoted husband and loving father, grandpa, son and brother.

He is survived by his Joan of Tomah; two daughters, Jenny of Tomah, and Lynn (Dennis) Martin of New Lisbon, Wisconsin; a son, Phillip (Susan) Parr of West Salem, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Zachary and Margaret Martin and Madeline Parr; his mother Rose Marie of Tomah; two brothers, Jerry (Mickie) Parr of LaValle, Wisconsin, and Allen (Sally) Parr of Northport, Florida; a sister, Carol Chroninger of Onalaska, Wisconsin; two aunts, Esther Mossholder of Westby, Wisconsin and Velma Parr of Ontario, Wisconsin; a special niece, Cori (Jamie) Evans of Wilton, Wisconsin; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Memorial Service will be at 11a.m. Saturday, November 3, at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 1221 LaGrange Avenue, Tomah. Pastor Mark W. Benning will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the church on Saturday from 9am until time of services.
